Fund Raising Event for the McGrath Foundation

On Thursday 16th October 08 a bright, very successful, fund raiser "Spring Has Arrived" was held in the Ballroom of the Westin Hotel, well attended by the business community. Held for the benefit of the McGrath Foundation - a pink rose was presented to each lady on arrival in honour of Jane McGrath.

Deep Vision Business Image Agency organised the event, in conjunction with Zoya Karman Design. Channel 7's Reporter and Presenter Sophie Hull, together with leading Australian actor Diana McLean, and Speaker/Naturopath Kira Sutherland, ably assisted the MC Andrew Coorey.

An entertaining floorshow highlighted a performance by Diana McLean of Deep Vision's "Life is a Movie" - the segment proposed our effect on others during life's journey and the impressions we make each and every day - completing a lifetime script and award-winning movie. This concept from Deep Vision Agency's forum created animated discussion throughout the evening.

The entertainment continued with Zoya Karman's Spring/Summer 2008 fashion parade, "Pasion Flamenco" dancers, and the Aria nominated singer/songwriter Melinda Schneider who performed "Courageous" from her new album “Be Yourself”.

Auctioneer Tim Andrews inspired much bidding, interlaced with his infectious humour. The auctions and raffles provided fabulous sponsored prizes, including - an Australian South Sea Pearl and Diamond on necklet by Levendi Jewellers - a Hayman Great Barrier Reef holiday package - Ramon Bracamonte painting - Cricketing sports memorabilia by Glen McGrath, Brendon Julian and Mark Taylor AO - Deep Vision Agency consulting voucher - Bohemia Crystal - Purestuf - Babor Australia - Blinc Cosmetics -  Zoya Karman After-Five Gown - Diamond Earrings by Constantine Jewellers - Dr. Raymond Loh voucher - Angourie Rainforest Resort holiday package - UDOG streetwear - Perry Ellis Hair, Endota Spa, and Ice Cube Restaurant vouchers.

The floorshow was supported by Perry Madison Floral Design, ACMUSE make-up artists, Perry Ellis Hair, Staging Connections, Anna Garvey designed the invitation, printing by Worldwide - Crows Nest, and photography by Oneill Photographics and Jason Hinsch.  Cocktails and canapés served by Westin Hotel.
